Disney Dinning & Recipes

My Favorite Disney Restaurants

Everyone who is a Disney Fanatic knows we are crazy about our Disney Dinning. I always try to eat something new when i’m there but of course I have my favorites:

  • Chef Mickey’s – The Contemporary Resort
Chef Mickey is not only my all time FAVORITE Restaurant but also in my opinion the best Character Dinning. My little man loves Mickey and his friends so this is a must do. I prefer the breakfast buffet but lunch and dinner are good also.  The characters come around to your table while you enjoy all you can eat mickey waffles and other famous Disney breakfast items.  It is so worth and money and is a must do every time I go!
  • Liberty Tree Tavern- Magic Kingdom Park
I stumbled across this place last year when we went to Disney World during a hurricane!! We just got off the Haunted Mansion and it was raining. We ran into this building that I have always just passed by. We stepped into a time machine! You are back in the Colonial times feasting like pilgrims. We ate lunch which was good but we also went back for dinner which is a family style buffet. It was pricey but the food was so good. One word of advice…do not go on splash mountain after eating here 🙂
  • Aloha Isle- Magic Kingdom Park
My mouth is watering thinking about the famous Dole Whip.  It is soft serve ice cream serve in a float style. I HATE FLOATS BUT LOVE THE DOLE WHIP! I also get the pine-apple but you can also get orange and vanilla. This is a fun location that makes you feel like you are cooling off after a long day in the jungle… look closely you just might see Peter Pan walking by.
  • Toy Story Pizza Plant- Hollywood Studios Park
Not only is this a must for toy story lovers but also pizza junkies. This restaurant places you right in the middle of Toy Story! Like everything Disney, they pay attention to detail so while you are eating you will be gazing around. While cooling off your children can also feel like they are still having fun (because no kid wants to take a break at Disney). There is an arcade.
  • Lotus Blossom Cafe- Epcot Park
99 percent of the time I would say you get what you pay for, but at the Lotus Blossom you barley pay anything for quality food and a lot of it. My family loves Chinese food so when we go to Epcot we always eat here. I like eating here before the big firework show.
